Gratefulness–Week 2
November17
2nd week and I’m already behind. Oh well!
Nov 8–Sunday
- Time to be crafty! Pretty much all I did all week was make Christmas cards. I <3 Christmas paper. I think I <3 it to an unhealthy level. But I’ve finished a LOT of Christmas cards.
Nov 9–Monday
- All of the fun I get to have with my students during December. I ran errands to get what I need for Christmas around the world. I even found windmill cookies!
Nov 10–Tuesday
- 50% off sales! Especially on Christmas decorations. Got quite a few red and white ornaments for my Christmas tree. Can’t wait to decorate!!
Nov 11–Wednesday
- Sophisticated gratitude: the courageous men and women who live their lives, and offer their lives, to preserve our freedoms.
- Uncultured gratitude: my favorite dinner–yum! The best steak that I’ve ever cooked + red cabbage + peas.
Nov 12–Thursday
- Domestic comforts, especially cleaning supplies and my own washer and dryer.
Nov 13– Friday
- That I love my class! I’m losing yet another student! I’ll be down to 21 which means the next move-in or two will be mine. They had better not screw up my kids!
Nov 14–Saturday
- The perfect snowy day: no obligations and no where to go! I could sleep late and make cards to my heart’s content!
S- Making cards is keeping the Sabbath holy. Not so sure about the paper coveting.
M- Lucky kids with windmill cookies. Ik hou van jou!
T – Yay! Can’t wait to see your decorated tree! Is your angel here? Shall I bring it Saturday?
W – How did you make the best steak ever?
Th- Amen and amen
F – Who is moving??
S – Yes. More cards!
Love your gratitudes! I’m grateful for you!
I can’t believe you found Speculaas around here!!! Will you tell me where? Ik hou van jou!!!
