christmas journal dec. 10-12

Obviously I didn’t get caught up on the journal before we left so I’m working on it now! These pages include the cookie exchange I hosted for some of the wives last week. It’s been such a nice December!

Also, we’re freezing in Utah. I actually love the weather (seasons are nice!) but it’s hard to remember how to pack for cold weather when you’re living some place that’s 60 degrees during the day. So I definitely didn’t pack well for this chilly weather.

Love your journal! I grew up with a real tree, like Jacob, and Kevin grew up with a fake one, like you. This was our first year – out of 9 Christmas’s that we got to have a live one :) .

Where did all the shortbread go?? When are you going to post the rest of these?

I am already nervous about going back to NY! Coming back after four days in Utah for thanksgiving was hard enough, but after almost two weeks for Christmas?! I think I’m going to freak out. I want to move back to Utah! But I guess I should appreciate NY while we’re there. I’ve wondered if I’ll miss it when we’re done and I don’t know if I will. But you miss it sometimes… Right? :)

Heidi, I have to FINISH them so I can post them! And the shortbread was for the cookie exchange.

Angie, I miss it constantly. Especially since we didn’t get to move “home” to Utah which would have eased the pain of leaving NYC a lot. Instead we had to move somewhere else we didn’t really want to and it still wasn’t home. And it’s way less fun than NYC! So I bet you’ll miss it.
